This week’s veteran is Specialist Shane Kaplan of Minneapolis. Shane just returned from his first tour in Iraq and Kuwait. As a Medic with the Minnesota National Guard, he was the first line of care for 13 Soldiers on his convoy security team. He is also a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician and is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Paramedicine.
