This week’s veteran is Marine Corporal Nathan Warner of Minneapolis. Serving during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003, Nathan was responsible for retrofitting the unit’s unarmored Humvees and overseeing their maintenance.  Nathan now has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the University of St. Thomas and has studied at the University of London and Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. He has leadership experience in Sales, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Training.

As a Medic with the Minnesota National Guard, he was the first line of care for 13 Soldiers on his convoy security team. He is also a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician and is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Paramedicine.
