Women in Combat Jobs & Financial Assistance

An Afghan farmer shows 1st Lt. Tara Robertson, a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard serving with the Zabul Agribusiness Development Team, a diseased plant during a shura conducted while on a partnered patrol with Afghan Uniformed Policemen, Afghan National Army soldiers and US Soldiers from C Troop, 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 615th Civil Affairs Team and Zabul Agribusiness Development Team of the Mizan District in southern Afghanistan.

This week, as the Department of Defense lifts restrictions on women in combat jobs, we’ll find out how this historic change effects Minnesota’s service members. We’ll also talk about the financial resources available to help today’s troops. Guests Include:
