D-Day at Normandy & Minnesota Military Furloughs

This week we’ll get the latest on the military furloughs hitting more than half of the Minnesota National Guard’s full-time force. We’ll also meet a Minnesotan who survived the D- Day invasion at Normandy and we’ll see how local businesses are benefiting from employing the guard and reserve. Armed Forces Appreciation Day at the State Fair

The great Minnesota get-together is hosting their Armed Forces Appreciation Day on Tuesday August 27th starting at 0930. Vietnam era veterans who register by July 31st will receive four free tickets. All other current and former Servicemembers with proof of service will receive discounted admissions and access to a whole host of events planned that day.
