VFW Donation and Serving Our Troops in Norway

This week we meet with Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Minnesota and learn about a donation to the Minnesota Veterans Homes, head back to Norway and hear from the Serving Our Troops crew at the 50th NOREX – Norwegian Reciprocal Troop Exchange and get an update from the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Camp RipleyThis week U.S. Congressman Tim Walz joins us to talk about sequestration, furloughs, the clearing the VA claims backlog and improving rural healthcare. Also, Camp Ripley Post Commander, Army Col. Scott St. Sauver and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Worden join us to discover the upcoming Camp Ripley Open House. We’ll also hear about upcoming changes to Minnesota’s Norwegian Reciprocal Troop Exchange.

Soldiers from the Norwegian Army will join us in-studio to tell us about their unique 40 yearlong partnership with the Minnesota National Guard. We’ll also call our troops now training in Norway and the volunteers with Serving our Troops. Guests include:
